Luke 18:15-17

People were bringing even infants to him that he might touch them; and when the disciples saw it, they sternly ordered them not to do it. But Jesus called for them and said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of God belongs. Truly I tell you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will never enter it."

Children's Message & Church

Son Life is keenly aware of the value of Jesus in children's lives, and of children to the Christian faith and to a congregation. We welcome families with children of all ages to our worship services. Pastor John gives pre-communion-age children their own message during the service... sitting with them at kid-friendly floor level!  Then, during the sermon our youngest members aged 1-3 retire to our fellowship hall for Bible stories, coloring and crafts; what we call "Toddler Sunday School ". Pre-communion-age children are welcomed at the communion rail to receive a blessing.

For your comfort, we also offer a “cry room” at the back of the sanctuary for nursing mothers or restless infants and their parents. Activity bags are also available (pick one up on your way into worship) to help keeps kids engaged during services.
