Son Life Youth Ministry

SLY (G6-G12)
Senior and Junior youth enjoy fellowship events, travel to youth gatherings, the Night of Joy at Disney or Rock the Universe at Universal Studios and participate in fun fund-raising and service activities.

Our middle-school aged members are invited to Confirmation class.  Under the tutelage of Pastor John our younger youth are prepared for Confirmation... a most wonderful time in every Christian's life. Call Pastor John at 738-5433 to register.

Early Communion classes are held annually on the first three Saturdays in February (February 4, 11, and 18) from 9 - 11 a.m. Youth ages 10 and above that calendar year are eligible to attend along with a parent or guardian. The 6-hour course led by Pastor John focuses on the Sacrament of Holy Communion. For more information or to register, please contact Pastor John at 738-5433.

2012 SLY Events

• February 12: Valentine exchange and ice cream social following service
  
• March (TBA): Spring training game at Roger Dean Stadium
• March 30: Egg stuffing and Wii game night. 6:00 p.m.
  Bring two (2) dozen plastic eggs and candy to fill them.
• April 8: Egg hunt. 11:00 a.m., after Sunday service
• May 20: Beach clean-up and picnic at Gulfstream Park. 12:00 noon.
• June 11-15: Vacation Bible School
• July 22: Bowling and pizza party at Strike Zone. 12:00 noon.
• August 12: Pool party (Location TBA). 12:00 noon.
• September 23: Skating party time
• October 26: Trunk or treat, with dinner preceding
• November 18: Regressive dinner. 11:00 a.m., after Sunday service
• December 16: Christmas caroling at nursing homes

Community Projects: Our youth are looking for anyone who would like help with odd jobs that need done around your house. Painting, yard work, cleaning, building, fixing, our youth can do anything they set their minds to! Please contact Lynne at 733-8684 or Beth at 738-5433.
